During sound healing therapy sessions, I use a variety of instruments both on and around the body including tuning forks, Tibetan & crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, rattles and more to create a dynamic and deeply healing & relaxing experience. This modality leverages sound, vibration, and frequency to gently transform on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level. Benefits can include deep relaxation, reduction in pain and inflammation, lowered stress and anxiety, improved sleep, management of depression, mood disorders, trauma, digestion, and so much more!

Sound healing gets to the root of the issue, not just the surface level symptoms. Two main factors that exacerbate physical and mental health challenges are chronic stress and suppressed emotions, which lead to an incoherent resonance in our electromagnetic energy field. Sound healing therapy helps address this through bringing your energy field back into coherent resonance and harmony. Sound therapy works through setting the intention, triggering a relaxation response, releasing stuck or repressed emotions, balancing your energic biofield, transforming beliefs, and engaging you in the process.

Throughout a typical session, I focus on balancing your chakras (energy centers), addressing excess and depleted energy flow in your meridians by working on acupressure points, and using personalized methods to address any core challenges you are experiencing. I will use a combination of my intuition and your feedback to develop a protocol that's individualized to you. You remain completely clothed during the session and can simply lay and relax and enjoy.

Results and/or improvements are typically felt immediately or soon after the session and clients typically report feeling a deep sense of calm and relaxation during and after the session. There are no officially recognized side effects with sound healing, it is a very gentle and effective modality. When the session is over we will discuss anything that came up and how you can continue your individual healing practice on your own between sessions.  
I request first time sound healing clients book a first time client session to ensure we have enough time to talk through your history, needs, and goals at the beginning of the session. Before a session begins, there are a few conditions I should be aware of to provide a safe experience including: epilepsy, pregnancy, acute tumors, pacemakers, defibrillators, stents, shunts, deep vein thrombosis, open wounds, artificial joints, active skin disorders, diseased veins, carotid stenosis, deep brain stimulation device, or recent whiplash. Reiki is a gentle yet powerful healing modality where I use guided Universal life force energy through various hand positions over and around your body, which works on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level removing any energetic blockages or imbalances that may be present in the body. Benefits include deep relaxation, reduction in pain, lowered stress and anxiety and so much more!

During a Reiki treatment, I typically focus on the seven major chakras, or energy centers, but also use my intuition to guide me to the areas that need special attention and will conduct an aura cleansing where needed. The Reiki knows where it needs to flow, I'm just there to guide the process! You remain completely clothed and can simply lay and relax during the session, there's nothing you need to do but be and enjoy.  At the end of the session we will reflect and discuss anything that came up for you.

Clients may have a wide variety of experiences during the session that could include relaxation, seeing colors or images, feeling hot or cold, feeling movement of energy in their body, crying, laughing, sleeping, or sometimes nothing immediate. Sometimes these feelings can arise later. Some clients report feeling lighter or floaty after a session like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders.  It's all completely normal and each session will be different. Know that whatever you feel, trust you received exactly what was needed at that moment in time.

Reiki can do no harm and is a very safe healing modality. A common question I get is if I'm absorbing energy from you or if I'm giving my energy to you. There is no exchanging of energy, you keep yours and I keep mine! Reiki is also not associated with any religion.
